PokéBonk controls: keyboard, mouse & touch

Find the PokéBonk keyboard and touch reference, fix input focus, and understand fullscreen and mobile landscape controls.

Keyboard and mouse reference

This reference follows the earlier game interface. Remapped keys and newer versions can differ: check the controls/settings screen in the game before relying on a binding.

  • WASD: move; mouse: look around.
  • Space: jump; Shift: slide or dodge.
  • R: Ultimate; E: interact or capture when prompted.
  • Right click: target lock; Q: aim.
  • Mouse wheel: camera zoom.
  • Esc: pause or release pointer/fullscreen; P: in-game pause/resume where supported.

If keys do nothing

Click inside the game window first. Close a menu or text field that may be taking input. Check whether the game is paused and whether controls were remapped. If arrow keys or Space scroll the page, the webpage probably has focus.

If mouse movement stops at the window edge, click the game and accept its pointer-lock request if you want that mode. Esc releases it. We do not bypass browser permission prompts.

Touch controls

Earlier mobile controls use a left joystick, dragging to look, and on-screen action buttons. Rotate to landscape before a run. Make sure the browser toolbar is not hiding the lower buttons. If a gesture scrolls the webpage, start it inside the game area.

Fullscreen support varies by browser, especially on iPhone and iPad. If our fullscreen button is unavailable, use pokebonk.com directly; this may give the game more usable space. Landscape alone does not prove touch gameplay works on every device.

Controller and accessibility limits

Controller support can depend on the device, browser and current game version. Connect the controller before opening the game, then check its own settings for button mapping. This guide does not have a verified per-controller compatibility list.
