PokéBonk version notes & source checks

Dated PokéBonk version observations, what was actually checked, and where to find developer news without invented patch notes.

Last updated: 2026-10-23

Latest observed version

On 23 October 2026, the welcome screen at pokebonk.com displayed BETA v0.8.26. This is an observation date, not its release date or a promise that it remains the latest version.

The game is loaded from the developer’s server. This website does not package a separate build or control when it updates.

What we checked

  • The source page responded, and its English welcome interface rendered.
  • The interface offered Guest, Enter, Create account and Play as a guest.
  • The welcome text described server-side guest progress tied to the device.
  • The developer’s legal page identified Charcher and described the game as unofficial, free and non-profit.

This check did not establish full-run stability, mobile touch compatibility, frame loading success rates, balance changes or new features. An attempted guest entry did not produce a verifiable gameplay session during the check. We do not treat the welcome screen as proof of successful gameplay.

Correction to this guide

On 23 October 2026 we removed the older v0.6.2 labels and unsourced “what’s new” summary from our homepage. Those labels could misleadingly suggest that the embedded game was pinned to that build. We also corrected conflicting guest-save and advertising statements.

Developer release notes

For current game news, use the news/version interface in the game or the community linked from the source site. We have not verified a complete public changelog and do not infer patch contents from a changed version number.

Future entries should name the observed version, date, source and exact check. Detailed gameplay claims need a documented test or developer source.
