PokéBonk not loading? Black screen & mobile fixes
Troubleshoot PokéBonk loading and black screens in order: source-site access, WebGL, input focus and mobile browser limitations.

First: protect your save
Do not clear cookies or site storage as your first troubleshooting step. The game uses browser storage for sessions, and a guest identity may be difficult to recover. Check Save to account in the game if you can still access it. Embedded and direct-site sessions may differ.
1. Compare the game window with the source site
Open pokebonk.com in a new tab.
- Direct site works, embedded window does not: the issue may involve third-party storage, frame restrictions or an extension. Continue on the direct site after checking which profile is active. You do not need to disable browser protections globally.
- Neither works: retry later and test a normal connection permitted by your network administrator. The game server or its assets may be unavailable.
- Menu opens, but gameplay does not: the page is reachable; continue with browser graphics checks below.
A successful iframe navigation does not prove the 3D engine is ready. This guide cannot read the cross-origin game’s errors or confirm a server outage.
2. Wait once, then use a deliberate retry
The first launch downloads game assets. Our window shows extra help after 10 seconds and a retry panel after 45 seconds if navigation is still pending. These are interface timeouts, not measured game loading targets.
Use Try again or Restart if needed. Restart reloads the game window and may interrupt a run; use it outside an active run when possible. Repeated rapid refreshes can restart downloads.
3. Check browser graphics
Use a current browser with JavaScript and WebGL available. On desktop, check whether hardware acceleration is enabled in browser settings and restart the browser after changing it. A device or organization policy may make WebGL unavailable.
Close other heavy tabs. If the menu loads but 3D play is slow, try the game’s lower graphics options when available. Do not install a download or extension claiming to unlock PokéBonk.
4. Fix mobile view and input
Rotate to landscape, tap inside the game and check that the browser toolbar is not covering action buttons. Use the direct site if fullscreen is unsupported. Controls and focus help.
If a school or workplace blocks the game, this website does not bypass that policy. “Unblocked” in a search query is not a guarantee of access.
5. Report the useful details
For a game bug, use the developer’s contact on its legal page. Include game version, device/OS, browser version, direct versus embedded result, the visible error and steps to reproduce. Never send your password or session token.
